At the endurance race at the Nürburgring, Red Bull Team ABT competed with the revised Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 – and the No. 27 fought for a top position until shortly before the finish.

From Audi To Lamborghini.

After many years with Audi, ABT Sportsline opened a new chapter. Just as it did for the 2025 DTM season, the experienced racing team switched to Lamborghini for the Nürburgring endurance classic and entered two revised Huracán GT3 EVO2 race cars.

New Car. New Challenge. Same Racing DNA.

Red Bull Team ABT. No. 27.

Three experienced GT drivers shared the cockpit of the Lamborghini with race number 27: Mirko Bortolotti from Italy, Daniel Juncadella from Spain and Jordan Pepper from South Africa.

Three Drivers. Three Nations. One Lamborghini.

From P27 To The Front.

The Lamborghini started the race from 27th position, but that did not stop the team from launching an impressive charge through the field. By the evening, the No. 27 had already climbed to 11th overall.

Despite several minor technical issues, the team continued to battle through the demanding endurance race. With around one and a half hours remaining, the Lamborghini had worked its way up to an impressive 6th place.

So Close. Yet So Cruel.

Then came the bitter end: with only around 90 minutes remaining, a gearbox failure forced the Lamborghini to retire from the race. After an impressive comeback and running as high as sixth overall, Red Bull Team ABT was denied the chance of a top finish.
